Excursion to Stone Forest. One of China's most remarkable natural phenomena- 80 hectares of bizarrely-shaped limestone cliffs and peaks,formed by erosion after the sea bed was thrust up some 270 million years ago. Visit a minority village on the way. Fly to Jinghong the capital city of Xishuangbanna Dai Autonomous Prefecture.In the evening, 55 minutes (B/L/D) |
Day 02 |
Jinghong |
We'll travel by road to Xishuangbanna Tropical Botanical Garden and take a stop at the Olive Plain (ganlan ba). The Olive Plain is 40 KM down the Lancang River (the upriver of the Mekong) south of the Jinghong County Town. Local Dai people call the Olive Plain the 'peacock's tail ', meaning the most beautiful part of Xishuangbanna. Later we'll pay a visit to Dais' Garden and join in the water-splashing game.(B/L/D) |
Day 03 |
Jinghong |
Full day sightseeing in the Wild Elephant Valley (yexiang gu) . The native Chinese elephant lives in the equatorial forest of Xishuangbanna. The Wild Elephant Valley is the place where elephants roam most freely, and are most often seen. The Wild Elephant Valley is an excellent place to see elephants in their natural state. It has become the most popular tourist site.(B/L/D) |
Day 04 |
Jinghong |
Visit Virgin forest park and Jinghong city tour? fly back to Kunming in the evening.(B/L/D) |
Day 05 |
Kunming |
Leave hotel early morning and departure (B/-/-) |

Dali/Lijiang |
Visit Three Pagodas, which was built 1000 years ago in the Tang and Song Dynasties and is the symbol of Dali now. Then drive to Caicun village of Bai minority near Erhai Lake for cruise on Erhai Lake on the board you can enjoy " the 3 courses tea" ceremony and a traditional dance performance . Latter visit butterfly spring . Continue driving to Lijiang, 180 KM, 3 hours.(B/L/D) |

Lijiang |
Excursion to Yak Meadow of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain with chair lift, Visit old town Lijiang .Evening you can choose to enjoy the Naxi Music. (B/L/D) |
