I am an Associate Professor in National Laboratory of Pattern Recognition (NLPR), Institute of Automation, Chinese Academy of Sciences. I obtianed my Ph.D. in Computer Science from NLPR in 2010. My advisor is Prof. Jun Zhao. In 2005, I obtained my M.S. in Pattern Recognition from Institute of Intelligent Information Processing, Xidian University under the supervision of Prof. Licheng Jiao. Prior to that, I obtained B.E. from the School of Electronic Engineering, Xidian University. I have been visiting scholar in Baidu NLP group from 9/2010 to 12/2010 (working with Prof. Haifeng Wang). Previously, I have be senior software engineer in TsingHua TongFang Co. Ltd. from 5/2005 to 8/2006.

I have broad interests in Sentiment Analysis, Information Extraction, Question Answering and Natural Language Processing. I have published more than 30 papers at top conferences and journals including TKDE, ACL, IJCAI, EMNLP, WWW, CIKM, COLING. I have received Google Focused Research Award 2015, Best Paper Award at COLING 2014, Best Student Paper Award at CCPR 2008 and "CCF-Tencent" Research Excellent Award in 2014. I reviewed for journals including IEEE Transactions on Knowledge and Data Engineering (TKDE), Pattern Recognition (PR), Transactions on Asian Language Information Processing (TALIP) etc. and has served as the PC member of top conference including ACL, EMNLP, COLING etc.
